INSTRUCTIONS
- Fill the test tube with water up to the 5 ml mark
- In the presence of water hardness higher than 3 ppm CaCO3 the water turns red
- In the presence of traces of water hardness for about 1 ppm, the water turns purple
- In the presence of traces of water hardness for about 2 ppm, the water turns grey
- In the presence of traces of water hardness between 2 and 3 ppm CaCO3 the water turns light pink
- In the absence of water hardness, water turns dark blue
