External is the sealant that is applied externally to refrigeration and air conditioning system components for applications with flammable refrigerant gases.
Product features
- it effectively seals all types of leaks up to 5 mm that occur on metal and rubber components of refrigeration systems
- it is resistant to lubricants, additives and refrigerant gases
- can be used on both thermoplastic pipes and metal system components and is resistant to cleaning fluids, including chlorinated fluids
- application is quick and easy: it is quickly mixed with the fingers and, when applied to the leak, repairs it permanently in 4-5 hours
- once dried, it can be sanded or removed easily
- compatible with POE, PAG, PAO, Mineral Lubricants and Alkibenzene
- resistant to refrigerant gases: CFC, HCFC, CO2, R32, R1234y
- to reduce the drying time to one hour, heat EXTERNAL for 5 minutes with a hot air gun
