Do you know that the continued use and the mechanical stresses to which equipment are subjected over time can cause drift measurement, resulting in a loss of accuracy? To carry out a periodic calibration can ensure a correct reliability of the instrument, helping the daily work of technician, in full compliance with industry regulations.

This is valid also for all instruments required for the verification of facilities containing fluorinated greenhouse gases. The UE N. 517/2014 regulation, in which are defined the obligations for reduction of emission of fluorinated gases, explains the periodic verification of the tools. This is also necessary condition to obtain the business certification.

Accredia, the only national authority that certifies the competence of certification bodies and calibration laboratories, has issued a circular (DC n. 12/2020) in which establish which instruments are necessary to possess in order to achieve F-Gas certification and which of them require periodic calibration.
Specifically, the instruments for which annual calibration is required are:
– Manifold
– Digital clamp meter
– Digital electronic scale
– Electronic leak detector
– Digital thermometer with interchangeble probe
– Torque wrenches

The calibration of those instruments is necessary condition for accessing enterprise certification examinatio and its maintenance.

If your F-Gas certification is just before the deadline and you need to renew it, check the expiry date on the calibration certificates for your instrumentation.

Tecnogas put at your disposal a metrological laboratory and the skills of our technicians to make the instrumental comparison. The comparison is a time-consuming and precise operation, then vi suggest you to send us your tolls with due advance.
Moreover, Tecnogas offers you the opportunity to buy some products with instrumental comparison already included in the price. To know our instrumental comparison service, download here the brochure.
Purchasing the necessary equipment, rather than renting it, certainly involves an initial expense, which, however, is amortized over the years. It also allows you to keep track of calibration certificates at all times to be in compliance with current regulations and be certain that the instrument is working properly in the field.
